We braved the Florida heat and ventured out to the zoo today. I wish I had some sort of creativeness to write about the fun we had today...but my wit seems to have escaped me, along with my ability to keep my eyes open, coincidentally.
The lions were actually awake today! We even got to see them playing with each other...I'd show you a picture, but my camera is a piece of garbage, so you'll just have to believe me
This is where I learned something rather disgusting about giraffes today...

Good to know! I've been wondering about returning to the zoo after our summer-long hiatus...maybe I'll wait a little longer for some cooler weather.
Totally looks like fun! Isaac and Maylee fed the Giraffe's last Christmas. I have decided that's the time to go to the Zoo in Florida, Christmas!
I don't set foot in the Zoo unless:
1. It's cool.
2. I have children with me...so much more fun !
Florida has some great attributes, but hot-n-humid is not one of them. I'll stick with Colorado, thank you very much.
