Here ya go, Mom! 21 Weeks

Yeah...I'm wearing the same outfit as my last belly shot - but I own all of two tops and one pair of pants, so if it bugs you...feel free to buy me clothes

But here I am at 21 weeks!

Sometimes you just need a TIME OUT!

This weekend was amazing! Timi and I left for Orlando about 10am on Friday and had such a blast! We started out by going to the Temple...something I haven't done in months. Then we went to The Cheesecake Factory (after several U-turns) and had a yummy dinner - with no toddlers to worry about. We had a little bit of time before the conference started so we wandered around the mall and shopped. We had such amazing presenters this year at Time Out for Women. I think I enjoyed this year more than any other year. My only complaint was how incredibly FAR it was to the conference hall from the parking lot. It must have been over a mile! We enjoyed dessert at Chili's before getting to our hotel and had another incredible day the next day with lots of laughter and a few tears. We both left feeling rejuvenated and uplifted.

Seriously, Dad...get over it - I'm not a girl.

And since I can't possible show off one without showing off the other...

I hate shoe shopping!!!

Shocking, right? As much as I love fashion and shopping - I HATE trying to find shoes!!! I haven't bought anything less than a 3 inch heel or wedge in years. I own one pair of flats and two pairs of "ugly comfy shoes" that I wear towards the end of my shift at work. But it's SUMMER! I want cute sandals for work and play...and I'm going to be very very pregnant for the hot summer so they've got to be comfortable. (A word I despise)

My problem? I HAVE SUPER WIDE FEET!!! AUGH! And the only thing that comes in "Wide" are things like these:

I'm sure they'd be super comfortable and very practical...but honestly - do I strike you as the 'practical' girl when it comes to fashion??? I hope not!

So, I'm headed out today to find SOMETHING that resembles the fashionista hidden inside this pregnant lady and I will probably sacrafice comfort for looks...and regret it all summer long.

18 Weeks

The purpose of this post is twofold. One - to take away from the awful picture of me in the previous post, and two...I have ONE pregnant picture from last time...so this time y'all get to put up with an updated picture every week! Lucky you!

All Hung Up

Well Rebecca is going to kill me for doing this, but I don't care! So I'm sitting there watching tv when all of the sudden I hear a frantic cry for help. I turn around to see whats going on and it seems that Rebecca got "hung up" on the way to the kitchen to get that last bowl of cereal. So being the sweet husband that I am, I decided to give her a hand. I know everyone will get a kick out of this.....so enjoy.

Meet Mr. Trouble

This morning I was on the computer and Mike was fixing breakfast in the kitchen. I look over and this is what I see:

Yep...that would be Cool Whip on every finger!

HE PASSED!!!!!!!

We just got the results of the FDLE State Exam online - and Mike Passed!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!

Surprise sonogram!

Mike called me today while Hayden and I were at playgroup to tell me that the Women's Help Center called and they have a new sonogram machine and had students there today that needed pregnant women to learn on...so - we got an early sonogram! I had to have a full bladder...and three sonographer students each took a turn on me...so I was laying on the table for an agonizing 35 minutes. It was so worth it though! We saw the little heart beat...two hands and two feet...oh - and three legs :)

IT'S A BOY!!!!!

I've known from the beginning of this pregnancy it was a boy, but Mike really wanted a girl, and he's in denial about it right now...maybe next time!

17 Weeks
