Oh how I LOVED the Farmer's Market! Nikki, Chad, Madison, Hayden and I loaded up and headed downtown to see how much we could spend (or not spend) on fresh fruits and veggies...and I must say - I am quite impressed!
I swear these kiddos are sick of us taking pictures of them...
But note the fresh veggies behind them!

I got all of this for $20!!
1 bag of clementines,
1 giant citrus thing that I don't remember the name of
4 HUGE cucumbers
6 tomatoes (I gave a couple to Nikki)
3 pears
1 bag of grapes
1 bag of apples
2 onions
6 peaches
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
(Nikki gave me the garlic - but they were SIX for ONE DOLLAR!!!)

It's about time someone besides Cory and I reaped the benefits of the farmer's market...We usually pay practically nothing for our produce...we turn in soda cans to the recycle center down the street from the market and use the what we make $5-$9 on fresh fruits and vegies !
I am SOOOO mad at myself! I was totally stoked to go, adn then I FORGOT!!! Mommy brain I guess? I am so bummed they only have it once a month because now I have to wait! Get this...they next date is Oct 18th and that is mine and Craig's TEN year anniversary from our frist date. Crazy, huh? Guess we'll be celebrating by going ot the farmer's market!! Looks like so much fun!
Uh - They have it EVERY DAY from dawn until dusk! This is the one on Beaver Street...
I love that farmers market! I have found the best deals there, especially on honey.
Ugh, I'm so bummed I couldn't make it. How often is it? I want to go, maybe next week if I can get my lazy butt out of bed :)
