Disney World

Mike and I took an impromptu trip to Disney World with the kids. Florida residents get a great deal and I wasn't getting any less pregnant! Plus, the weather is perfect in February!

Halloween

I spent a lot of time last year making tons of tutus and I couldn't stand it anymore...I wanted one of my own!

Please ignore the disaster that was my house...I was morning-sickness pregnant and apparently blew off any responsibility to spend hours making my tutu!

Arizona

I was blessed to be able to go to Arizona all by myself in October to see my adorable cousin, Crystal, tie the knot. It was a lot of fun to be able to spend time with my family and I do have to say the break was exactly what I needed.

Her dress was amazing and she and her cute husband, Jared, looked so happy!

T-Ball

Well...apparently I'm blogging again. This was last September when Hayden was playing T-Ball. He had a blast doing it and it was really fun to watch him get better each week.

First Day of School

Getting the heck outta Dodge

Mike's birthday fell on a Friday this year, so I surprised him by picking him up for lunch at work and booking it down south to Orlando for the weekend (without kids)! He had NO idea I had been planning this and he was thoroughly confused as to how he didn't have to go back to work for the rest of the day.

We started the weekend out by chilling in the hotel and watching a Gator baseball game then we went to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory that night.

The next day we got up, hopped in the car and went to the temple. It was so nice to be able to drive 10 minutes there and ten minutes back, rather than two hours! Since our eighth anniversary was earlier this week we were able to perform some sealings. It was so wonderful!

After that we were off to Wet 'n Wild and then back to the hotel for an uninterrupted nap!

It really was an amazing and much needed weekend for the two of us to reconnect.

On a really cute side note, this is how we found Dallin when we walked into Grandma's to pick him up...guess he had a fun filled weekend, too!
